Aus den Wahrnehmungen in der Natur  entstanden Weltbilder, die in Zusammenhang mit den Jahres- und Tageszeiten einen vom  Beginn, dem Zyklus der Geburt, bis zum Ende, dem Tod, eine Vorstellung, ein Bild vom Verlauf des Lebens vorgaben.
In den Religionen metaphorisch  erweitert und mit einem festes Regelwerk versehen, wurde das gesamte Leben in feste Strukturen mit Riten und Vorgaben eingebunden.
Die Ur-Zyklen: der Weibliche, die Jahres- und Tageszeiten haben durch wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse, die mögliche Kontrolle und Manipulation, durch jederzeit abrufbare Informationen und oftmals auch manipulierten oder banalisierten Darstellungen das Geheimnisvolle, Unantastbare verloren.
Zunehmend mangelndes Wissen über Ursprünge und Geschichte beschleunigt zunehmend die Entfremdung zu den Traditionen und Religionen geht eine Entleerung der Zyklen und deren Inhalte und Markierungen wie besondere Tage und Zeitabschnitte einher.
Der Verlust eines Rahmens der Zeiten und Ereignisse ist auch der Verlust einer Handlungsanleitung, eines Gefühls der Sicherheit und  Geborgenheit.   

Auf der Suche nach Ersatz, nachdem der Konsum sein Versprechen einer wohlhabenden Gemeinschaft nicht einlösen konnte, werden gegensätzlichste Überzeugungen und Auffassungen zugunsten einer scheinbaren Gemeinsamkeit und deren Zielen sowie der in dieser Gemeinschaft erhofften Geborgenheit und individueller Sicherheit verschleiert.
Auseinandersetzungen werden wieder mit geradezu religiösem Eifer geführt – sinnentleerte, zu neuen Relikten erhobene oder umgedeutete auch vormals religiöse Gegenstände werden zu Symbolen neuer Bewegungen die eine neue Gemeinschaft und Zusammenhalt versprechen.

Perceptions of nature gave rise to images of the world which, in connection with the seasons and times of day, provided an idea, a picture of the course of life from the beginning, the cycle of birth, to the end, death.
Metaphorically expanded in the religions and provided with a fixed set of rules, the whole of life was integrated into fixed structures with rites and guidelines.
The primordial cycles: the feminine, the seasons and times of day have lost their mysterious, inviolable quality due to scientific knowledge, possible control and manipulation, information that can be retrieved at any time and often manipulated or trivialised representations.
An increasing lack of knowledge about origins and history is accelerating the alienation from traditions and religions, accompanied by an emptying of cycles and their contents and markers such as special days and periods of time.
The loss of a framework of times and events is also the loss of a guide to action, a sense of security and safety.

In the search for a substitute, after consumption has failed to deliver on its promise of a prosperous community, the most opposing convictions and views are obscured in favour of an apparent commonality and its goals, as well as the security and individual safety hoped for in this community.
Disputes are again conducted with almost religious zeal – objects that are empty of meaning, elevated to new relics or reinterpreted, even formerly religious objects, become symbols of new movements that promise a new community and cohesion.
