Die Dekadenz ist eine kulturelle Tendenz, die aus dem Bewusstsein oder der Vermutung entsteht, zu einer Epoche des Verfalls zu gehören. 

Einerseits gibt es die künstlerische Reaktion und Sehnsucht nach dem ‚Arkadien‘ aber auch die Wahrnehmung des Wertewandels und den Verfall gesellschaftlicher wie materieller Werte.

So gibt die Zeitintegration als Umkehrung der Zeitableitung eine Vorstellung der möglichen Entwicklungen oder einer Entwicklung eines bestimmten Aspektes, welche die ökonomischen und gesellschaftlichen Veränderungen darstellt – hier der extreme Wandel der ökonomischen Wertvorstellungen, die in der verklärten Darstellung die Dekadenz der Zeit widerspiegelt.

On the one hand, there is the artistic reaction and longing for ‚Arcadia‘, but also the perception of changing values and the decline of social and material values.

Thus the integration of time as a reversal of the derivation of time gives an idea of the possible developments or a development of a certain aspect, which represents the economic and social changes – here the extreme change in economic values, which reflects the decadence of the time in the glorified depiction.
