Nur mit der Hintergrundinformation  (dic.: Faktum/Wissen (Information), das nicht direkt ein Thema betrifft, sondern das Umfeld des Themas beleuchtet) kann eine Information – in einem Objekt, einer Darstellung oder Nachricht –  auf die darin enthaltene, oft nicht direkt ersichtliche wesentliche Information reduziert und in Relation zum Umfeld, der Gesellschaft und der Zeit der Entstehung gesetzt und abstrahiert werden.
So lässt sich oft auch scheinbar gegensätzliches auf einen gemeinsamen Ursprung zurückführen.

In this way, even seemingly contradictory things can often be traced back to a common origin.
